OK… you can see I am waaayyy behind on my blog reading. Why didn’t you bring this to mini group meeting? Or did you show it at the meeting I missed!!! Dang… I absolutely love it!!! Funny thing is, I brought that book and have been contemplating doing this or “ink-li-que” on my paisley piece. Have you tried to see if you can get intense colors using the color pencil technique or is really only pastel colors achievable?

Kudo’s Mary Anne… you always seem to do such interesting work. Sounds like a lecture for Pelham Quilters ..

Well for sure I did not notice anything wrong. So to me the first piece looks as good as the second. But know you mention it and i looked at other New York pictures, it needed fixed. You are so good that you make make the changes. What a great piece of art work.

Well, yes, as soon as you mentioned something was wrong, this NJ/NYer noticed that the Citicorp building and the Chrysler building were switched around with the Empire State building! Nothing to do with seeing it from the New Jersey side, though, it was still wrong. At least Tom is paying attention to your work, LOL!
